An Unforgettable Stay with Room for Improvement
Arriving was a mixed bag, a warm welcome brightened a dimly lit venue. My room's comfort shone through despite an unsettling entry. The bar's lunch lacked flavor but the staff's attentiveness stood out. Request extra lighting and check for breakfast essentials to elevate your stay.

Just a smart choice for a mini-break over the weekend in Blackwood (Gwent) with great value. The lady who welcomed us was really friendly and made us feel at home. Bring your own snacks as the food might not be what you expect.

The stay featured a clean and warm standard double room, providing a comfortable resting place. Access to amenities required prior communication, making it less convenient. While I appreciated the cleanliness and warmth of the room, the promise of continuous food service needs to be accurately represented.

great spot for exploring nearby parks and landmarks
I loved how easy it was to stroll around and visit attractions like the Tommy Cooper Statue, just about 2 km away, and Parc Penallta, which is less than a 10-minute drive. the convenience of the location gave me plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful park views during my weekend getaway.

Not the best stay
So, I had a bit of a rough time here. Arrived to find no extra bed in the room (reminded them later), and the food was pretty lackluster—hard bread and cold beans, yuck! The power cut at night was a nightmare, with annoying alarms and bright emergency lights. Breakfast felt stingy, too. Not impressed.

good room but limited dining options
The room I stayed in was spotlessly clean and kept at a comfortable temperature, providing a cozy atmosphere. The mountain view from my room was breathtaking and truly enhanced my stay.
I was disappointed to find the dining facilities were not available during my stay, which was unexpected.

Comfortable stay with potential improvements
I enjoyed a comfortable stay with a warm and inviting atmosphere and friendly staff. the dining experience was lacking, as the breakfast was unremarkable and our requests for additional items often went unmet. The room was cozy, but some attention to detail in housekeeping would enhance the overall experience.
